Modern operations need eyes, signals and effects held overhead, and held there. Existing systems cannot stay. Drones run out of battery and land. A mast tall enough to see is tall enough to target. Ground radar is fixed and easy to kill. Under jamming, connectivity is the first thing to go. Europe has no sovereign, affordable way to hold watch above the horizon, or to reach beyond it.

Luft builds the vehicle, not the sensor. It is a technology-agnostic airborne platform in two modes. A tethered aerostat holds ISR, communications or EW payloads on station for days, powered through one tether. A free-flying balloon carries a payload hundreds of kilometres, or flies as a decoy. Bring your own payload, or take the whole stack: platform, payload and ground control as one system.

The result is a sovereign European transport layer. Designed in Munich, built to deploy across NATO, and shaped by frontline needs in Ukraine. Engineered for winds over fifty knots. Persistence when you need to stay, reach when you need to go, and no payload lock-in.
