Lightmark is a deep-tech company building the global standard for physics based video authentication. The company's patented technology embeds an invisible optical signature into camera footage or physical environments using light beacons. creating an unforgeable proof of where, when, and whether content is real. Unlike metadata, watermarks, or AI-based detection, Lightmark's authentication happens at the physics layer during capture, meaning it cannot be stripped, spoofed, or digitally fabricated.

The technology addresses a rapidly escalating problem: as generative AI makes photorealistic fake video trivially easy to produce, there is no reliable way to prove footage is genuine. Lightmark solves this for defence agencies verifying battlefield and intelligence footage, sports leagues protecting IP across venues and streaming platforms, broadcasters needing trust verification in their workflows, and governments securing sensitive facilities.

Lightmark is pursuing a fundraise during Q2 2026 to scale the technology across both commercial and government customers, with the long-term ambition of establishing the Lightmark signature as the universal trust standard for visual content.
